Our journey south continued today as we travelled to Tamworth with a stop in Armidale for morning tea with David, a friend of Eleanor and Phil, who we had caught up with in Hervey Bay. Arriving in Tamworth we set up our vans and had a late lunch before setting off to the Golden Guitar Complex. The complex houses the country music wax museum and alongside each figure is a brief history of their country music career. The complex is about 5 km south of Tamworth and on our return journey we took a drive through the business centre of Tamworth before returning to the caravan park.
